This uptempo track was the first song released by One Direction following the departure of member Zayn Malik in March 2015. It was written by Jamie Scott, John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, the songwriters behind many of the guys’ hits including “Story of My Life,” “Midnight Memories,” “You & I” and “Night Changes.”

During some lighthearted banter with Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon on the Capital Breakfast Show, Louis Tomlinson denied that the song was about being ‘dragged down’ by Zayn Malik. “Are you trying to look for some kind of controversial answer here? You’re not getting it. The song is not about that, obviously,” the 1D member said.

Louis added that the tune is about “just saying no-one can drag you down, you’ll be alright, don’t worry – as long as we’re with each other that’s alright.”
